Devilled Sausages

6 Gourmet Direct Sausages (Beef & Onion)
2 large onions, halved and thinly sliced
2 Tbsp Founders Frantoio Oil
1 Tbsp butter
2 cups Foundation Beef Stock
2 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp Gourmet Direct Tomato Sauce
2 Tbsp Peplers Onion Marmalade
2 Tbsp Gourmet Direct Mustard
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp dried thyme
Salt and pepper, to taste

Bring sausages to room temperature.
Prick sausages lightly all over with a fork to break the skin.

In a lightly oiled large ceramic frypan cook sausages on medium heat until golden brown.
Remove sausages and set aside on a plate.

Add oil, butter, and onions to the frypan.
Cook on medium heat until the onions just start to colour.
Add the beef stock and remaining ingredients to the pan, simmering for approximately 15 minutes.

Add the cooked sausages back into the pan.
Simmer all of the ingredients together until the liquid has reduced, approximately 10 minutes.
Season to taste.

TO SERVE
Serve with buttery mashed potato and broccolini.
