6-8 good quality sausages
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 large onion, sliced
1 Tbsp Pepper & Me Tandoori Paste
1 Tbsp tomato paste
1 Tbsp chutney
1 Tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp mustard powder
1 cup beef stock
Pepper & Me Man Grind salt and pepper
Potatoes or Rice
Heat a fry pan with olive oil. Prick the sausages with a fork.
Fry the sausages in the oil turning, once browned.
Once the sausages are mostly cooked (don’t worry if they are not cooked through, they just need to be cooked enough to slice them up) remove from the pan and slice into pieces, place sausage pieces aside.
Add the onions in the pan and cook until soft and starting to brown.
Stir in all the remaining ingredients, gently simmering over low heat until the sauce starts thickening up
Add in the sausages and simmer for another 10 minutes.
Taste and adjust any seasonings you prefer before serving.
Serve with potatoes or rice and vegetables with a sprinkling of parsley or coriander.
