Slow cooked Get Lit Beef Brisket

1.5 kg Beef Brisket
3 Tbsp Man Rub
1.5 Tbsp Man Grind
250ml Get Lit Chipotle BBQ sauce
6 Tbsp Polly’s Black Sauce (Worcestershire)
3 Tbsp butter
3 onions, sliced
3-4 cups hot water
TO SERVE
Coleslaw with aioli dressing

Mash and seasonal vegetables.
Preheat oven (or lidded barbecue) to 160°C.
Bring beef brisket to room temperature.
Heat a heavy based pan on medium, and add butter and onions. Cook until soft.
Roll brisket in Man Rub and add to pan with onions, searing on all sides.
Add sauces to the pan, Man Grind and hot water.
Cover and cook in oven for 4-5 hours.
Check beef halfway through cooking time, and turn.
Ensure pan is not drying out and add more warm water if needed.
The brisket will be cooked once it fall aways when lightly touched.
Lightly separate brisket with a fork.
Keep warm until serving.
TO SERVE
Make up coleslaw and layer wraps with this, the brisket and top with dressing.
OR serve with a mash and seasonal vegetables for a more hearty meal.
CHEF’S TIP
Brisket can be prepared ahead of time and kept warm until needed.
