We are so thrilled to announce our new partnership with Southern Station Wagyu!

Southern Stations Wagyu cattle are raised by select farmers in Otago, Southland and Canterbury.

Wagyu beef originates from Japanese breeds of cattle.

NZ Wagyu beef is free range pasture rasied for the first two years to provide a balanced diet that starts the process of developing intramuscular fat.

After this time, the animals are moved into composting barns and are fed on a specialised grain diet to ensure they reach their full potential. The beef produced expresses the full marbling, tenderness and buttery flavour profile that Wagyu is famous for.

Every carcass is hand graded by an independent expert into marble score ranges of 3-4, 5-6 & 7+.
Southern Stations Wagyu supply Loin cuts, Rump, and Brisket.

Other cuts may be available on request.
Wagyu production is consistent, every week of every year.

All Wagyu beef produced is export quality and halal certified.


Wagyu beef is charged by the kilogram. Prices are estimates only and will vary depending on the size of cut you require and availability of product. If the size of the product you have ordered varies by more than 10% of the estimated size, we will contact you to ascertain your preference.
